On 12 October, the General Synod had a closed session day at the church in Bunschoten. In that meeting, a realistic and hopeful perspective for the church body was sought.
With gratitude, the moderation committee announces that the hopeful perspective has been found in principle. The synod members unanimously agreed to take forward the proposals that had been put on the table. During the first plenary session week of the synod, in November, this agenda item will come up again.
