Within the Christian Reformed Churches a lot of work is being done, in many different areas and at home and abroad. We can all be involved in that work of the church in very different ways. For example, by praying and giving. Did you know that you can donate through a legacy or a periodic donation with tax advantages?

Periodic donation

With a periodic donation gives you a fixed annual amount for at least five consecutive years. You set out the purpose, amount and term in an agreement between you and the deputation To which you want to contribute. A periodic donation is an attractive form of donation because of its tax deductibility.

Periodic Giving Agreement

If you want to support the work of the CGK through a periodic donation, you can use the periodic donation agreement to record this. Under question 4, fill in which deputation you want to support. The requested RSIN number can be found at the ANBI details of all deputations. Then send the form to the treasurer of the deputation or to the finance department of the Services Office for signature.

Inheritance or bequest

You can also choose to include a particular deputation as a beneficiary in your will. There are several options for this. With a legacy, you stipulate that the beneficiary will receive a certain percentage of your estate. A bequest is a predetermined amount.

A will is only valid if it is drawn up by a notary and signed by you. Before going to the notary, you can discuss your wishes with the deputation whose work you want to support. This way, everything is properly arranged and recorded.

Tax-free gift

Any amount is very welcome. The Christian Reformed Churches are recognised as ANBI. This also applies to all independent parts, such as deputations. This means that we have to consider an inheritance, bequest or periodic donation no load have to pay. The amount you donate will therefore fully benefit the destination you have chosen. A periodic donation is also fully tax-deductible.
