A day of rest and reflection for ministers and pastors

The Migrant and Church working group organises on Monday 18 November A multicultural retreat day with the theme Learn from Me.

The practice of everyday life all too often robs us of time. In particular, time of rest. Can you make a different move? We serve the Creator of time: what does Jesus want to teach you so that you find rest in your life and ministry?

Prayer, quiet and space. In every corner of the church, in every culture, the pastor with a responsibility for pastoral care needs a place to get quiet.

Come to the special, multicultural retreat day on Monday 18 November at the Wittenberg in Zeist and find that place of solitude with like-minded people. Unwind and receive nourishment for your soul together with colleagues from different churches and cultural backgrounds in the hustle and bustle of your work.

The retreat will be led by Rev Niek Tramper, who will use his years of experience to explore with us the way we can reflect, refresh and renew ourselves.

The theme will be given hands and feet by an inspiring lecture on rest in pastoral care in different cultures and an elective programme. This retreat day is the fifth edition of the annual conference organised by the working group.

Contribution to costs €39, early bird €29 (until 1 November).

The day retreat is organised by working group Migrant & Church. The following organisations are associated with it: Gospel & Muslims, Gave, Faith Integration Foundation, Intercultural Church Plants and Protestant Church Netherlands.
