The Open House in Haarlem is a multicultural church that now operates in four neighbourhoods. The newest is Europawijk, a colourful neighbourhood with a lot of resilience and at the same time poverty, loneliness and other (often complicated) problems. The Open House Europawijk should become a place where the threshold to enter is low and where everyone feels at home. This is where non-believers, first-time believers, long-term believers and non-believers meet.
There are two vacancies for the Europawijk pioneer spot in Haarlem.
Pioneer (0.8 fte)
The profile in brief: a follower of Jesus, an enterprising people person with a moved heart, interculturally oriented and with a missionary drive. You are responsible for developing missionary activities and shaping the vision of The Open House for Schalkwijk. You build a good team and a strong team culture and you are focused on cooperation.
Quartermaster (0.2 fte)
The profile in brief: an enterprising networker who sees opportunities, is communicatively strong and has experience working with people from diverse cultures. The core of your assignment is to prepare the arrival of the pioneer for Europe Quarter. You will be responsible for developing a plan of action and recruiting core team members.
