All over the Netherlands, our churches are involved in evangelisation work. Sometimes with their own activities, sometimes also by committing to independent missionary initiatives: places where people outside the church can come into contact with the gospel in an accessible way. The missionary consultants help churches to shape their missionary vocation themselves and provide advice and guidance to those missionary initiatives and pioneer spots.

Getting involved with a donation

What many people do not know: unlike diaconal and missionary projects, missionary projects do not receive financial support from the national church. And yet they often need more money for their work than they can raise on their own.

This is why we make it possible to support evangelisation projects with a donation through this website. This way, everyone, individually or as a church, can participate in spreading the gospel and together we make visible that these places are really close to our hearts as churches. Of course, in doing so, our prayers for all involved remain indispensable!

Several missionary sites are now using the donation option.

  • Assen Seeks asks for support for new Alpha courses so that even more people can discover faith and get to know Jesus.
  • Hope for North in Amsterdam needs a small amount of money for a teenage weekend. Faith training is imperative for young people growing up in a secular environment.
  • House of Light As a young house church in Rotterdam, sees people coming to faith and needs support for such things as Bibles, discipleship classes and connecting meals.
  • Open Arms in Rotterdam needs a modest start-up fee for a Bible café to introduce children and their parents to the gospel.
  • Via Nova asks for support to equip house church leaders. Through house churches, Via Nova wants to make God's good message visible to more Amsterdam residents.
