Regularly, team Evangelisation gets the question whether we have leaflets available for example in the hall of the church or at an evangelisation stall. We don't have leaflets. However, we do have plenty of ideas, inspiration and knowledge to get you started.

Connecting with people

Missionary church-going is about connecting with the environment. It is a life attitude that relates to all aspects of the church. So evangelising is much more than organising activities. Those activities do provide a great opportunity to meet and get to know people around the church.
We have collected some ideas and examples of missionary activities for inspiration. What suits your church: a neighbourhood meal, neighbourhood day or maybe even the mission challenge?

A conversation starts with listening

Another way to engage with people is not only to explain what the church or Christian faith is about, but also to ask what the church could do for the visitor. You can do this in a very low-threshold way, for example using a short form. You can also make it part of a St Paul walk by the neighbourhood.

Contact

A lot of knowledge is available about evangelisation. We are happy to pass on that knowledge. Some of it can be found on the webpage Inspiration and equipping. As a church council or evangelism committee, do you need targeted advice or customised coaching? The missionary consultants are at your service, feel free to call or email.
