Would you like to involve your congregation in the global work of missions? One of the many ways to do so is to convene a themed service on mission on a Sunday morning in your congregation. The list of available mission services for 2026 has been published. From 1 September, preaching providers can again request mission services through the Services Office.
The services will be conducted by Rev Arjan Witzier, Rev Willem van 't Spijker and Dr Jan van 't Spijker.
A mission service is an inspiring morning service centred on mission. You can expect the following:
- It is made clear from the Bible how receiving the gospel and being a witness are inextricably linked. Jesus says in John 20:21: "As the Father has sent Me forth, so I send you forth."
- You will get an insight into the projects that mission supports. In a (short) presentation, during or after the service, you will hear about the mission projects. This can be one specific project, or just an overview of all the projects.
Sermon providers can request an available missionary service through the request form. The list will be supplemented later with the availability of Rev Willem van 't Spijker.
