Within the Foreign Mission Deputation, we work with several deputation committees (dscs) that are responsible for our mission projects and workers.
For the dsc East Africa we are looking for new committee members.

What does a dsc do?

The dsc is responsible for:

  • Prepare multi-year strategic plans and annual plans for the mission projects.
  • Monitoring the progress and policies of these projects (implementation lies with the mission consultant).
  • Liaising with mission workers and MDWs and sharing experiences with churches to raise mission awareness.
  • Reviewing policies annually and providing input for the multi-year budget.
Practicalities
  • The committee meets 3 to 4 times a year.
  • Members are appointed by the Foreign Mission Deputation.
Profile of a committee member

As a committee member, we expect you to:

  • CGK member are
  • Affinity with mission and missionary work.
  • Being involved in church life And you recognise in the Reformed identity.
  • Communicative skills You are a good employee and can work well together in a team.
  • Willing to commit several hours per year (meetings + preparation).
